Behind the project
Hiya! My name is Marta Negro.
I’m sure the first thing you want to know are the names of my two dogs. Ikisi is the little one, adopted in Italy in 2012, and Teaspa was adopted in Thailand in 2020 (here you can watch her incredible story)Ā
Thanks to the experience of adopting abroad, the idea of Help the dog fly was born. So, in my case, I can say that adopting a dog brought me more than happiness.Ā
I was born in Spain, but I’ve lived in many places. I currently live in Scotland. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a vet; I never made it, but I knew that my love for animals would find a way into my life.Ā
I want to help as many animals as possible, and to be honest, my biggest dream right now is to make this platform successful and make it my full-time job.
Would you like to know anything else? Feel free to email me.
Hi, I’m Victor!
This picture is from my last trip, I almost always have animals around me but it is not always possible to combine a nomadic life with pets. I am passionate about photography, travelling, people, their cultures, nature and everything that surrounds them.
I was born in Spain. I lived a few years in Bolivia where I collaborated with CIWY, an NGO that rescues animals from trafficking, it was one of the most intense and rewarding experiences of my life. It had a big impact on me.
Help The Dog Fly is a project that I fell in love with from the first moment Marta told me about it. It is effortless to work on it, we are putting a lot of heart. Thank you so much for reading this far.
Hello! Iām Helen šĀ
This is a picture of me with Inti, the sweetest cat, that I found on the streets of The Island of The Sun in La Paz, Bolivia. Inti means Sun and it suits him perfectly for his looks and the warmth he has brought to my life and my loved ones.Ā
Iām half Bolivian/half Colombian passionate about communication, spirituality and adventure; I believe everyone was born to embody their brightest version of themselves. In this stage of my life Iām only interested in being involved in projects that speak to my heart and create change in the world; when I was first introduce to Help The Dog Fly I knew this was one of those projects, more so when I got the opportunity to learn about Marta, Victor and the love they pour into every detail of this venture.
Help The Dog Fly is a MUST KNOWN site for every animal lover around the world and Iām excited to be part of the team to make that a reality
