Yes, for now. That’s why we always suggest donating to be able to keep going.
In the future, we will have a fee to help us to grow, but for now, it’s free.
We try everything that is in our hands to make the platform safe. There is a verification system for every user, which add an extra safety measure.
After you register on the platform, you will be able to post the trip that your animal needs to do, and hopefully, we will find a transport volunteer for them.
Every volunteer has to read and accept the responsibilities that involves become a transport volunteer. To make sure the animal is ok if there’s a stopover, to be responsible for the paperwork or to include the animal on the ticket, among others.
Sometimes things happen during the trip, and we can’t be responsible for it, but to be honest, things rarely go wrong.
We always recommend to the volunteer to talk with the animal owner to give them more opportunities to find another option.
Hopefully, as soon as the volunteer gets another flight, they will book an animal again.
Help The Dog Fly is not a platform to make money, although we suggest giving an incentive to the volunteer. It can be pocket money to help them with the ticket, free accommodation or a gift.
