Transport volunteer experiences
Amazing! To see the joy of the adopting families discovering their pets in Schipol Amsterdam, it was sooo nice and all worth it!
I've done it 4 times! Greece- Netherlands and Portugal-Netherlands. Nothing beats the feeling of saving those lives and making families happy when you hand over the pets at the airport. I often get emotional.
I took 4 cats with me on my flight back from Greece. It was very rewarding, and easy to do. The adoption organisation took care of everything. Would definitely do it again! The cats all have happy homes now in Holland and Belgium
I've been a transport volunteer twice. Once with a cat from Saudi Arabia to Toronto, and the second one, the same journey but with Luna, a lovely disable dog that finally got a family. I stayed in contact with her family, and it is impressive to see how animals evolve.
I was volunteer for 2 dogs ( cargo) and a cat ( in the cabin) from Romania to Switzerland . All ok with Swissair, Bucharest -Zurich.
These experiences happened before this platform existed. Remember, we have just launched, but we want you to see what a fantastic experience it is.
